| The house stands well back from the old London to Bath road (the A4) in 7.5 acres - although only 2.5 acres of land is available for guests as I breed beef cattle and use the rest of the land for them. Bowood is our nearest attraction and well worth a visit. | ||

There is a great deal to see and do in the area. We are 18 miles from Bath and 7 miles each from Avebury Neolithic stone circle, a World Heritage site.
| Lacock National Trust village. Marlborough, Salisbury and Oxford are within easy reach, as are Hungerford and Tetbury, both with excellent antique shops. | ![]() |

Tetbury, the home of Prince Charles is in the so-called 'Royal Triangle'. On the southern borders of the Cotswolds, we overlook our local `Stately Home', Bowood, our nearest attraction - just 1 mile away, which is open to the public for much of the year and has an excellent 18 hole golf course. We are surrounded at distances of between 10 and 25 miles by several other houses and gardens open to the public.
| Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust is not too far away. There is racing at Bath, Newbury, Salisbury and Wincanton and we are surrounded by excellent walking country. | ||

There are pleasant pubs and restaurants around and we do not `expect' our visitors to dine at the house. We can always make reservations on your behalf if you wish to dine out. Try these other interesting links:- Crop circles White Horses Longleat |
